I’ve always loved sport but only got into running seriously in the last 2 years. This may have been in part due to my tireless Border Collie Maisie, who is the best training partner. I am also lucky enough to have amazing training ground right on my doorstep, and there’s nothing like shaking away the cobwebs on the coast path after a long day in the office!
Best running achievements
Transgrancanaria 2013 3rd lady; Arc Of Atrittion 2015 1st; RAT Plague 2015 1st; 1st overall in Endurance life Flete ultra, and female course record holder; 1st lady in the Druids ultra 2013 and 2014; and 2nd lady in the 6000d in the Alps this year.
I have a soft spot for the Endurance Life South Devon ultra, as it’s right on my doorstep, and the half marathon was the first race I ever entered. I would never have imagined I would be doing the distances I do now!
Most Inspirational Runner
A friend of mine, Joe Ward, who is still running half marathons at the age of 75
Most memorable running moment
Wandering around, trying to find the way out of a field for about an hour in the middle of the night, in a howling South Westerly gale on Bodmin Moor on the UTSW last year. We had to laugh.
